I Read Me

How many times has it happened that you read a book or someone's autobiography and you see yourself in their words and pages?

I don't know how often is it for others, but its a rarity for me. Having lived an independent life, of my choice and my passion, I find it really striking to come across the same thoughts in someone else. I wonder sometimes, are these similarities just a coincidence of similar personalities or is it just similar situations that brings out similar actions, reactions, and thoughts be it anybody.

I ran into the author a year back. A passionate writer. Writing just for oneself. I have gone back and forth on questioning and trying to understand why people write? I could narrow down to the following -

1. First they write to convey a point
2. People write to convey either their own or somebody else's point
3. Some authors use different flavor's (chocolate cream, vanilla, red hot chilly pepper, or bitter gourd etc) while others are less experimental or monotonic. I personally prefer to read the former than later.
4. Some write about themselves, their lives, their realizations through fictions other choose to just serve it direct, without much improvising (like am doing now)
5. There are critics and well as P J writer's too. Here too I prefer reading the later than former. Too much of criticism gets on to my nerves!
6. There is this last variety, whose writings are very confusing. This is could very well be an artifact of my partially underdeveloped grey cells ! :)

Having said that I think I can classify my present author to be a passionate writer with some garnishing here and there. Writing has so much to do with having the need to think through each and every statement running in your junk box (mind) that many of my thoughts get cleared the moment I pen it down. But nothing like, free honest writing, just for the sheer passion of expressing oneself.

It feels like checkmate when the author and the reader(s) wavelength jive well creating the symphony of the Sin and Cosine waves! (sorry for using the last two words)

Thats what I feel every time I read anything written by 'I Read Me'..

I think it is also related to the underlying passion of not taking life for granted.. and believing that Life will be what you want it to be.. Getting and Giving the best out and into everything..knowing oneself and the surrounding as accurately as it possibly can be.. .. A desire to know and see the 'truth' whatever it might be.. Glad to come across such passionate souls ..who dare to walk and talk what they feel and think.. who rhyme through their passions nothing but "MAI APNI FAVOURITE HOON" type traits...

On a tangential note, Jab We Met, was a good and fast movie..2nd good performance by Kareena, after Refuge. My nickname (Bakwaas) is used around 22 times in that movie.. :-)

I loved it, specially having lived in my dream land for eternity, and myself being my favorite :)
