Kyunki Albert Pinto, Albert Pinto hai :)
Just bored hence talking nonsense... here is what Rick said today. He encouraged me to continue my analysis for the first time :)
"Today it's easier for you to show up and take control of a complex situation than it is to withdraw, think about what's happening, and then take a course of action based upon your thorough analysis. Normally, you are the calculating one who is measuring each thought. Now, however, you may be ready to jump in without first seeing if the pool is filled with water. In your haste to act, don't try to detach yourself from your feelings, for they still have much to teach you"

The bakwAAS attitude :)
One day a farmer's donkey fell down into a well. The animal cried piteously for hours as the farmer tried to figure out what to do. Finally, he decided the animal was old, and the well needed to be covered up anyway; it just wasn't worth it to retrieve the donkey.
He invited all his neighbours to come over and help him. They all grabbed a shovel and began to shovel dirt into the well. At first, the donkey realized what was happening and cried horribly. Then, to everyone's amazement he quieted down.
A few shovel loads later, the farmer finally looked down the well. He was astonished at what he saw. With each shovel of dirt that hit his back, the donkey was doing something amazing. He would shake it off and take a step up.
As the farmer's neighbours continued to shovel dirt on top of the animal, he would shake it off and take a step up. Pretty soon,
everyone was amazed as the donkey stepped up over the edge of the well and happily trotted off!
MORAL :
Life is going to shovel dirt on you, all kinds of dirt. The trick to getting out of the well is to shake it off and take a step up. Each of our troubles is a steppingstone. We can get out of the deepest wells just by not stopping, never giving up! Shake it off and take a step up.
Remember the five simple rules to be happy:
1. Free your heart from hatred - Forgive.
2. Free your mind from worries - Most never happen.
3. Live simply and appreciate what you have.
4. Give more.
5. Expect less
You have two choices...smile and close this page, or pass this along to someone else to spread the fun. I know what I did!!

Khattaam Wala Payaar
Maaza agaya..
Don't know if the bollywood marketed true love exists or not....but the movies are so convincing to make you fall into the trap, he he he :)
I call it 'Khataam Wala Pyaar' ..that apparently is experienced by all..or as the movie showed finally realized by all three friends..
I had liked the Character 'Akash' in the past. And it stands still the same. This movie was made so brilliantly that I am falling short of words. Did not have a blog then, else would have compared my thoughts with then...
I haven't grown much since then, i.e, 2001 :) except that I remember watching it with my First Boy Friend ...Don't remember if I felt this 'Khatam waala payaar' for him or not! Did not to quantify or judge feelings and emotions back then.. Just went with the flow :) and felt or rather believed what am feeling IS the TRUE LOVE ...
Btw this movie also is the aniversary movie for the first break up :) .... he he he he he..
7 years from then, today I feel Nope it was not! To be really honest, I do not think that I have felt that Khatam wala pyaar till now..which means possibly 'Kahani Abhi Baki Hai :) '
7 years from now when I revisit this post, I don't know what am going to have to write...let see if I have or find a different name for it..
The Free Online Link to the Movie : Dil Chahata Hai

But the few things that I am convinced about life, also presented in the movie are -
2. I surely want somebody like me, no emotional jheek jheek :), only bakwaas, and some work :)
3. Love does not happen in a planned scheduled. Everything planned is only crush, infatuation, or attraction or ways of getting laid :) SIMPLE !
4. Its Magic when it happens.. (the word Magic reminded me of something beautiful in my life)
5. All relationships cannot be defined within the four letter word LOVE, which ends in Marriage
6. When you really want someone's happiness than wanting that person, you know you love that person
7. Heart break focuses you in work :) , I need to have one to finish my Phd :)
8. Control freaks will always remain control freaks
9. Genuine friendship or love never dies, it always breathes within you even if you are miles apart, have fought or run out on time!
10. If you know today, is your last day on earth, and you have only one hour the person you would want to meet is the person you love :) (for me it keeps changing every three months, he he :)
11. Words are worthless when you can hug and touch the true emotions. Its so true. It my litmus test. People say when a guy kisses, gals can make out if this guys is genuine or not! Am not so sure about that...as I think I will/might be confused due to the influence of my hormones. BUT A HUG WITH CLOSED EYES, tells me everything........I just know it. The first Hug, was so different from the last hug :) with someone with whom I just felt or experienced the 'M' of Magic :)
12. Mom's are gods creatures they just know it :)
13. Attraction is not same as Love
14. A friend told 'Love is always both sided and attraction is one sided' although I have felt 'Attraction is always both sided and love is one sided' he he he :) (this was tangent, but will check on this after 7 years as well)
15. Time is the best and the ONLY answer to everything, so do not try to run or push or cheat on time :)
I think for now...this is enough...incase I have any more enlightenment will jot them down here, as for now CUDOS' to the 'Khatam Wala Pyaar'
Amen, God Bless, Cheer's to life and love, shoove :)

What CRAP !!!!
GIVE ME A BREAK....why the fuck in the perfect world should this talented dude be even associated with India!! Thanks that he did not even grow up or stay or have any connections with India, else he would not have had the chance to enter or participate in the Olympics heat selection !!! India or Indian Media should stop associating anybody who has some percentage of Indi- blood and become famous as 'the glorified indians' !!!!
BECAUSE just having some distant Indian Blood does not make anybody Indian or give media the privilege to make a claims on their achievement! If I was RAJ, I think I would Sue Rediff for writing that FIRST line !! WHO the F*(*)() are they to decide on what's a perfect world !!!
Instead if they pay even 0.01% attention to people within the country struggling to make an entry to Olympic or sports we might actually for real win some medal some day !!!
FREAKS !!!!!
A Gujarati wins gymnastics bronze for USA

In a perfect world, Raj Bhavsar [Images] should have won an Olympic medal for India.
Instead, the gymnast did America proud in Beijing [Images].
The 28-year-old Houston lad, born to Gujarati parents Bob and Sue Bhavsar, was part of the six-member American men's team which won the bronze medal in artistic gymnastics in the Beijing Olympics [Images] on Tuesday.
Raj, a member of 2001 and 2003 World Champion US team, thus became the second Indo-American gymnast, after Mohini Bhardwaj, to win an Olympic medal.
Mohini was part of the American women's team which won a silver in Athens in 2004.
Raj proved third time lucky after twice coming close to make it to the Olympic team in Sydney and Athens. He, in fact, mulled quitting it altogether after the double jolt.
The dream finally materialised in Beijing, but not without Dame Luck's intervention.
It was only a fortnight ago that he got a call-up to fill the void created by Paul Hamm's injury and the gymnast of Indian origin, who tried everything from Jack Canfield books to Bikram Yoga, finally had his day under the sun on Tuesday.
"I'm so grateful to everyone. This has been a fairytale. This medal represents the heart and soul of the team. No one thought we could win a medal together but deep down, we knew we could do it. We never doubted ourselves and it happened.
"This makes all the blood, sweat and tears worth it. Personally, I exceeded my own expectations and I think the team did so as well," he gushed.
Though Raj was initially kept as standby, he said teammates were kind enough to offer encouraging words to keep him keyed up.
"The spirit of many other people kept me going," he said.
On his Pummel Horse show, Raj said he did not set alight the National Indoor Stadium but did enough to see the side through.
"My routine was surely not the best but there was no way I was coming off that horse," he said

Highlights of the day.........
some people are funny and they make you smile. But you don't meet them often or everyday. Thankfully there are others who are very talented, have the flare of writing and can aptly put such incidents in space for others to smile or Roll to laughter.
Two of my today's laughter bursting credit goes to the post made by 'Om' and 'Kashmira' on their blog...made my cranky day not so cranky :) ....
OM's reaction to - Organic Bra' !! IT IS indeed funny.. his complete words
"And what on earth is an Organic Bra !!! I have heard of Organic Tomatoes, Organic Potatoes, Organic Juice, Organic Tea, but this is taking the organic fever too far !!!"
I still can't stop laughing .....
Kashmira's tit bits in her words
Reaction to a 3D sonographic embryo "I saw a 3D sonograph of an unborn baby. His wife's parents actually bought the ultra-sound machine that could do this. When he told us that he has 3D pics of the baby, I jokingly asked him, does he look like you, he answered very seriously, well...my wife's parents think he looks like her, but his foot is exactly like mine. Then he showed us the pic of the baby's foot, and then his foot"
" can you beat that?"
My conversation with her later left me almost chocking myself...to death...'ya' !! Office folks turned their head back wondering what's wrong with me...
highlights of the conversation...(her husbands reaction to her blog, hope she does not mind putting this here. Do let me know Kashmira, :))
"arey nahi, he will tell me yeh kya time wasting ho raha hai :) either that or he will tell me you read it out loud for me!"
"arey has mat, he made me read a Jefferey Archer book for him once. Luckily for me, it was one of those short stories collection and he got bored after the first story."
"now that you're laughing, i am also thinking..imagine i tell him about my blog...
I write my post
I read it out to him
Then I also write his comments for me.
Then I reply also to his comments.
Ok, I need to stop thinking right about now :D"
THANKFULLY she stopped thinking :)) ..It was fun..like reading some funny comic strip...too good :)
God Bless...these souls...

what is Love ?
Ok, my take on Love has been - It is one of the most easy concept and natural thing to do or be in ! Yet I don't understand why people struggle with it , for it, avoid it or run away from it!
Over the years these are the different versions I have heard or may be experienced -
Teenage experience suggests - its the butterflies or the bell that rings one fine day, out of blue all of a sudden in the least expected situation when your eyes or smiles clash. (waoooo it feels great to even visualize it) :)
Arranged Marriage Experience - well when you start living with someone on a daily basis under the same roof something happens, and the something is called 'love'
The more open/exploring/experimenting versions (love marriage) - well, the first time he/she held my hand I could 'FEEL' or 'Knew' its' her/him and I was in Love at first sight
The Dad-Mom version - Well, when we met I did not even see your Dad/Mom. But we knew this is the person I have to and will spend rest of my life and is my/our world. And I/We fell in love. Those days we did not think or experiment or question things so much. We knew, this is IT. (this scares the shit out of me! Hat's off they had some courage, spare me. I don't)
Ok, now all the unmarried or single experiences of love -
Post heart break - It was so good. I don't think I can feel that way again or fall in love again !!
First date experience - Oh she/he is so kewl. I think am totally..in love with this person (watch out!!)
After couple of years of dating - No, I think it was just a crush. We don't have that chemistry anymore. I think we have fallen out of love or You know what we have grow apart!
Some blessed or unblessed soul would say - Love, huh what the hell is it?
Some real angry souls would say - oh, am done with it. There is nothing as love. Its all lust and need !
For some supercritical and technical people - Oh, its an hormonal reaction that happens between adults irrespective of gender in response to some mental or physical attraction towards each other ....
For Others - Aaah, I don't have time to figure what it is! I have better things to do ! :( ( too bad)
For some - What is the need of it ? I am happy myself. I don't need someone to feel loved!!
The unconditional version - its the feeling that you get when you meet someone and you wish the best for them in whatever they do or choose. No expectation policy :)
The Compromising version - well, its the feeling that makes you do things for someone else but surprisingly it makes YOU freaking 'HAPPY' :) And you don't even realize it!
The possessive version - the feeling where he/she wants or expects to be the center of attraction in his/her life in everything.
The One-sided version settle for - Oh, it was an illusion. Just a crush or infatuation may be!
The my space version - Its the feeling of just being there and not having to even talk or communicate. It's just so comfortable, one does not even have to compromise on the 'my space' Or may be its not even needed.
The complimentary version - It's the feeling when the qualities of him/her are just complimentary to you and one balances out each other.
The non- complimentary version - Not sure if it's 'love' but yes have heard of 'opposites attract' so may be its that feeling
The platonic version - Oh, no there is no love. We are just 'Friends' (I have always had problems with this version. How can you be friends and not really love your friend, Moron!!)
.
.
.
.
.
There is possibly more! But these are the few statements I have heard most frequently..the more I think about it I feel, I think, I believe its more our own mindset...even after the roller coaster I have been I think -
It's the combination of all the above versions. Not one single version is the only possible version. The more you try to focus on it, the harder it gets to get hold of it! So just Be in IT :) till you can..
It's about the willingness of letting go of yourself, simple! All the restrictions or complications are or can be attributed to the fact, 'If I am willing to do so or not ?'
The answer to above is processed by the grey cells by asking questions like 'Whom and Why' ?
:)
aah simple, looks like I figured out the most challenging question of one's life :)
and the following song suits this post the best ....

Shaadi.com days
This post is dedicated to the first guy I happened to meet through DOT.com ! Prior to this the chemistry wasn't good enough to even graduate to the level of meeting. So, here I am talking about this guy, who was not meant to be the person to be with me..
The first time I read his profile, I was intrigued to just tease him or harass him for his idealistic profile, infront of which perfection would shy away. Anyway so I started communicating with this guy over email, when I was in India. I had only breezed through his idealized profile prior to talking to him 3 weeks from when I started communicating with him over email.
I think it was only at the 2nd conversation that I actually went and read his profile correctly, as was contemplating man, is it possible that someone knows himself so well, and he actually IS what HE thinks himself to be? Most of the time we have a very wrong impression of who we actually are and who we want to be! In our heads those two are same but in real world and to most the two personalities in our head do not really coincide. Am sure there are lot of things in me that I am sure does not match with something I think myself to be...
Anyway so going to the .DOT.com days - so the conversation with this Mr. Perfect was just, like magic. We just had so much to converse, to share, common hobbies and interest. It just seemed too good to be true. A matured, sensitive, sensible, loving, caring guy and above all into outdoors and doing all these activities. I must be kidding to have met a person with all these tools in one box!! I was really really amazed at gods creation. How can he make something so perfect? Someone wanting to adopt, so much so that he would not want his own child!! Everytime I came across these thoughts and such conversion I would pinch myself to check if I am really talking to someone or just talking to myself. Such were the conversions. It was almost like check mate :)
My only and only concern and worry was what if I get turned off by his physical appearance? I had never bothered in my life about how a person looked. To me the personality, the overall nature of the person always valued more than if he was a tall dark handsome dude..atleast thats what I thought...and I was confident about until I met Mr. Perfect. I was really worried and nervous since I was going to withstand my own test set by myself my meeting someone, who had receding hair line, was not drop dead gorgeous and was balding !! I was really nervous thinking what if how he looked over weighed his personality? What if I fail to walk on my own set rule? That was what I was only unsure about for the past month I was communicating with Mr. Perfect. I knew deep down, that we had lot of things in common and nothing could stop us from sailing together unless I turned him down for his looks! It was just the perfect cocktail of emotions, affection and adventure that I needed in the monkey I was looking to settle down in my life....
The day to met the mate, finally came. I was excited to pick him up from the airport. I remember each and every second of the 30 minutes spent at the airport waiting for his flight, since it was delayed. I stood behind the stairways, way back from the main view just so that I see him first. From where I stood, I first saw the legs of a person, followed by hands if they were resting on the escalator, until it came till then end when I could see the face. The airport was exceptionally crowded that day. And I had no trouble in scanning for trousers or bald heads of the people getting down the escalator. Somehow from our conversation I knew that he was wearing formals. So any legs that came down the escalator clad in jeans were outside my matter of interest. So were the not brown hands that rested on escalator as it pushed its way down. My eyes were glued to the escalator like never before. I sms-ed my friend that I was nervous, what if turns to be a complete turn off ?? I imagined all the fair bald guys coming down the escalator in brown and asking myself - turn on or off?
My phone quacked all of a sudden as I was scanning the escalator for the brown, formal clad legs. It was him. His flight had landed and he was on his way out to the baggage claim area. As I said him bye, I saw a small toddling figure huddling out from the crowd into the baggage area in a grey shirt and black pant with a not so balding head. It was HIM. Well, I looked at him from a distance, and I heard my heart say - NOT a straight TURN OFF. Phew!! I was so relaxed. I made my way through the crowd slowly called out for his name and say - Hi, I am here.
Had a proper look at him as I walked towards him with a smile. He was much shorter and stouter than I had imagined. Not Fat but yes stout. Receding hairline but within the tolerable zone. Do not remember the smile as I never saw it after that but had big teeth. He stood there for a while till I bent forward to give him a hug. It felt nice.
Then started the most interesting journey of my life. He had is teeth out I think with the following sentence repeated thrice " you look different". "very different from all the snaps". " I think you are a sure ghost". "A Total ghost I think"....
I was shy, smiling and quiet. But repeated bombardment of the above line in few seconds I met made me say "yah, you look shorter than your snaps". That was the first and last comment I made about his looks, as it did not matter to me so much specially in context to the memories of conversation we had.
In few minutes we were out of the airport after checking out the car, with few more repeated bombardments about my 'Ghostly appearance' and my 'shyness' with regard to meeting someone from DOT.com. I don't know why I was so shy, but I was. May be because I was feeling romantic or wanted him to be romantic, or I was happy or I was feeling something... (Am yet to find out why are people shy when they meet someone they like) ...anyway... so I was shy, smiling and quiet... and talking general stuff.. I had never met anybody through DOT.com before so was not very mechanical about it. I think I was acting through my emotions. Anyway so we hit the highway 89 to take exit to 3300S, for shyam's place when I asked him the first and last question - So, what do you think ? I took sometime to understand the reply he gave, but for then it OK.
"nothing", am not judgmental ! the next few words just rushed out of my mouth before I could eat them :) "if you are not judgmental how are you going to or planning to choose a wife, I think you are more judgmental than most since you are putting an extra effort in not being judgmental"
................................
..............................................
the next couple of days were history. My jaws had started to pain sooner than I had expected due to the artificial smile I had to force on myself. The main reasons for the forced smiling were asking to taste wine at 230 midnight as soon as one lands in a strangers home (may be he did not think me to be a stranger); forcing and wanting to drive through the not so rugged mountain and curvaceous road and off course for not finding anything worth praising about the place ( i think he was the first person I met in my 5 years who did not find Logan beautiful and gorgeous, mind it I have had friends and guests from US, Europe, Australia, and offcourse India) ; amazed at his own capability to stand in snow, in middle of snow blizzard, in cold in a stupid red T-shirt; offcourse note worthy was his deep (IN) consideration to keep increasing the AC irrespective of the other persons cold and allergy due to temperature fluctuation; needless to mention his needless effort to show off about hiking in tough terrains, so much so that he was not interested to even have a look at the mountains here if he did not get to climb some tough peaks.... and the list continued..........be it doing some challenging treks, driving successfully in such dumb terrains, or achieving one's set target at rock climbing...
by the end of 2nd day I was not sure what was this person trying to convey and what was he visiting me for? He was trying to impress me or may be he is always so excited about himself that he never notices what other people around or what they want! If it was about impressing then I think he did a great job of impressing me about him being a kewl activity partner. But I thought we met on DOT.com and the goal was to find out if we can be good life partner's ? A husbands and wife, a parent to children, a family together ?
There was a huge vacuum between us in what we were expecting from each other. I was expecting a nice, loving, caring, sensitive, emotional (sometimes, if not always) - guy, a man. Whom I wanted to love, and I knew I could. He was expecting a hot, chick or babe to drink and dance to glory to go to club and eventually make out and check the chemistry :) ? An activity partner!!!
Oh, my gosh, I was actually talking to a ghost then! Phone conversations can be so misleading since it forces the persons attention and focus to just you, which might not be the basic nature of the person. How sensitive, caring, nurturing a person is in reality can only be judged based on how considerate he is about you in presence of other distractions :) . I spent the most boring weekend of my life, in complete silence for more than 72hrs!! How much ever hard I tried there was just nothing to converse. And the sensitive, caring, loving, affectionate vision that I had of Mr. Perfect soon changed to an "arrogant, inconsiderate, insensitive, immature PIG" - One drive, thats it. If you have to know a person, thats all you need to do. Go for a drive. A TEST DRIVE :) the real person will be out infront of you by the end of the TEST drive :)
To add further icing on the cake, Mr.Pig, does not have the courtesy or decency to tell before he takes off a "Thanks, I had good time but Sorry, I think this won't work".
Although I did not like lot of things about Mr. Pig, I still thought that it could work, if he realized or understood that marriage is more than activity partner, or clubbing, pubbing and dancing is bound to happen among couples if they are romantic which is limited only by time and disappearance of discomfort - ness !! But Mr. Pig is not only piggish but, also immature. Besides for me my long term goals and expectation from life on adoption and social work were bigger than these difference and I choose to make it work... But I think Life had made the decision and choice for me already.
Life did not want me to end up with Mr. Pig, in the first place, since I think life knew his true nature :) - a pig.
So much so that, he does not call or email after he leaves; he denies to pick up my call; but makes the effort to send an email immediately after the call saying "I think you would have understood by now" - king of PIGS :) actually I think a PIG is better than him :) ....infact his piggish nature is so strong that he puts the pics that I took of him during the trip on his .DOT.com profile :) - saying 'Ain't I kewl ?'
I don't know if I should pity the soul he finds, but all I can say is I do not deserve a pig, infact a real PIG might be better than him any day I think. No wonder, I was so sick and allergic during the days he was around..and I could not find my new eye lenses!!
I ran into my new eye lenses, today while cleaning at its more than 12hrs that I am wearing them and am perfectly fine - glowing and shining. I can say nothing but 'THANK YOU' to life for saving me from not falling in love with a creature worse than a PIG :), how about a leach :) ???
I think that suits him better :) a leach :D ... and his profile about himself... OH, thats nothing but what he thinks himself to be, or he craves or longs to be... I pray for the soul within him to realize the difference in who he thinks he IS, who he really IS !!
He was not meant to be.....
About us:
If you cook, i do the dishes; and if i cook, you don’t have to do the dishes. At least once a week, both of us drink and then dance or watch a movie either at home or at the theater. Sometimes, i may purposefully disturb you while you are doing something serious, as a reaction you can get angry and even yell at me. If you disturb me while i am doing something, i won’t get irritated, well at least for the first seven years. All fights will be null and void after a day. Differences are settled either by discussion, argument or through pillow fight. Public display of affection is perfectly normal. However, i believe that a relationship should start with some wavelength match and being good friends. If it clicks and if there is chemistry, we can take it to the next level.
About her:
She has a josh for life, is spontaneous, energetic, social, understanding, respects people and sometimes crazy. She values her friends and her career and will not forsake those for the sake of her partner. She likes her surname and won't change it after the marriage. She has her own opinions and won't hesitate to agree to disagree. She likes dancing, hiking, camping, long drives and adventure. She can have her own hobbies and i will willingly participate with her if she wants me to.
About me:
Live in the present and believe that life is to be lived to the full.
Reliable and honest - sometimes at my own cost. Simple and non-materialistic. An atheist, but respect other's belief. However, sometimes, for no reason, do question the belief system of people who are close to me and irritate them. Though never had any of my own, love kids and dogs. Slow to warm up to new people, but it depends on whom I am with.
The other part of my life is outdoor and adventure. Love hiking, camping and horse riding. Have done bungee jumping, rock climbing, river rafting, kayaking, snowboarding and mountaineering in the Himalayas. Have a license to jump out of the planes (skydiving). Would love to climb Chomolungma one day (but don’t think that will happen, coz it’s absurdly expensive) or at least try to make it to the base camp. Member of some of the NGOs that work towards nature and children.
Love dancing and can dance like no one’s watching. Sometimes sketch and experiment with cooking all the time. Friends who eat regularly are still alive. Movie buff for action, adventure, suspense, thrillers and romantic. Like reading, and favorite authors are Hermann Hesse, Albert Camus and Fyodor Dostoevsky.
Academically, have an M. Phil in clinical psychology and PhD in neuropsychology and currently pursuing Postdoctoral research in electrophysiology.

Had this vision last night..
In a state of bliss
Happens to everybody,
Once in life time
Once at bed time
But for the lucky soul(s)
It occurs
More than One Time, :)
Love it
Live it
Spread it
Feel it

F ~ xL + E
E = random error ( a function of situation)
In a short term object oriented interaction, a positive slope drastically changes beyond the expected range..showing signs of confusion and delusion ( I call it chaos), in human interaction. But when sampled over longer duration, a pattern is likely to be observed bound by strange attractors :) and the system moves toward instability.
In a in long last friendship slope of x is positive, usually a stable state linear system, sometimes will show non-linear trends (as a function of E), for some milisec, then continue on its trajectory. Probability of random shift among states reduced to minimum even after long duration of study period. But such tiny millisecond non-linear moments of interaction are extremely essential to push the state from a 'quasi- stable' to a more stable existence.
Long live state and transition model, long live the continuum of equilibrium and non-equilibrium, and long live Non-linear dynamics :) , as only in its presence can one distinguish between chaos and errors of time series ......
** all this garbage, a function of E again :) .. yearly quota of F with 'yum' just used efficiently this evening..**
intense anger and strong affection, disappointment yet care, all giving and all taking, two thermodynamically open systems... yes, this is what happens when two scorpion's are together :) ... what say 'yum' :P

A Latter fram Jaswantho..urf (Jassi )
I am in a well here and hoping you are also in a well there. I'm writing this letter slowly, because I know you cannot read fast. We don't live where we did when you left home. Your dad read in the newspaper that most accidents happen 20 miles from home, so we moved 20 miles. I won't
be able to send the address as the last Sardar who stayed here took the house numbers with them for their new house so they would not have to change their address. Hopefully by next week we will be able to take our earlier address plate here, and that our address will remain same too.
This place is really nice. It even has a washing machine, situated right above the toilet I'm not
sure it works too well. Last week I put in 3 shirts, pulled the chain and haven't seen them since.
The weather here isn't too bad. It rained only twice last week. The first time it rained for 3 days and second time for 4 days. The coat you wanted me to send you, your Aunt said it would be a little too heavy to send in the mail with all the metal buttons, so we cut them off and put them in the pocket. Your father has another job. He has 500 men under him. He is cutting the grass at the cemetery.
Your sister had a baby this morning. I haven't found out whether it is a girl or a boy, so I don't know whether you are an Aunt or Uncle. Your uncle, Jetinder fell in the nearby well. Some men tried to pull him out, but he fought them off bravely and drowned. We cremated him and he
burned for three days.
Your best friend, Balwinder, is no more. He died trying to fulfil his father's last wishes. His father had wished to be buried in the sea after he died. And your friend died while in the process of digging a grave for his father. There isn't much more news this time. Nothing much has happened. Wanted to write longer but the envelope is already sealed.
Live long
Your dear mother
